Cheryl started her working career at 17 at a place made famous by Rosanne in her stand up comedy routines- the Arctic Circle. She puts her best efforts into serving burgers and fries with "special sauce". (You have to be from Salt Lake City to understand this.) Her next career was with Sears, Roebuck and Company where she spent 15 years, moving from sales, to customer service, HR, Sales Management and Asst. Merchandise Manager. When Sears moved their buying offices to Chicago, she left the company and worked for one of their vendors. At Iona Appliances, her position included training sales reps on how to use our products and selling to independent vacuum shops. When they consolidated their sales force, she worked for various retail companies in the buying offices. Cheryl got married and moved to California for eight years where she worked as a Real Estate Agent. Her husband was then transferred to Colorado and she worked as the State Manager for Nations Title until an opportunity became available at Qwest selling yellow pages advertising! Cheryl just celebrated my 10 year anniversary at Dex. Her first two years were in telephone sales and the past eight years she has been in the premise channel. Cheryl says "I guess I missed the "good ole days" because I've never had the opportunity to golf instead of work, as is commonly rumored. In fact, I'm working way too many hours!" Cheryl has been a Union Steward for the past 8 years. She feels honored to work with and represent her fellow IBEW brothers and sisters in the crazy world called Dex. She is currently a Senior Market Consultant in Denver.
