This is a current up-date on Board of Supervisors’ President, David Chiu’s , ordinance re: Yellow Pages Directory Distribution.

The first reading of the ordinance before the full Board of Supervisors scheduled for April 5, 2011, was continued to May 10, 2011.

Several of our San Francisco Sales Representatives joined me at City Hall to visit with some of the Supervisors to make our case about the disastrous impacts on jobs and livelihood if the ordinance passes.

Our Sales team included L’Ann Bingham, Elissa Koestenbaum, Steven Gaynes, Jeanette Heinen, Daragh Bennett and Todd Jones.

The broad “Coalition” of “Vote No” on Chiu’s ordinance will be working diligently over the next few weeks to put together an alternative solution in an effort to keep the Government from taking control of the publication and delivery of Yellow Pages Directories.
