Sales Compensation–Update

On Sunday, December 12, 2010 the Northern California “Gates and Rates” compensation plan will be implemented. Here are a few things you can expect:

1. Monday – Wednesday (December 13-15) our CSS system will not run a nightly commission cycle. The commission cycle will be delayed until Thursday.

2. Records/retirements with activity dates of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be processed during the Wednesday night processing cycle.

3. Up to date earning statements will be available for sales to view on Thursday, December 16th.

4. On Tuesday, December 14th, a file will be shared with sales which will include the transitional level adjustments generated at the time of implementation. This transitional information will identify the “Gates” each sales reps will start in based on their cumulative sales results within their active cycle(s).

5. The transition will work in such a way that all accounts that have not been “touched” prior to Sunday’s system conversion will be paid on the new commission plan. It’s not campaign specific but account specific.

6. Accounts that have been “touched” prior to Sunday’s conversion will continue to flow through the NBA compensation plan.

Additional communication with be forth coming as more system enhancements get scheduled related to the Northern California contract implementation.
