BARGAINING/SURPLUS/CONSOLIDATION UPDATE

The Union received a package of proposals from the Company for review and discussion,  and although the Company stated it was an opening proposal which covered all of the articles in the contract, the Union was disappointed that with just a short time until the expiration date, there was a lot to be covered.

Discussions continued throughout the week as both parties hunkered down to find common ground.

Discussions continue with the Company over the surplus/consolidation as your Union continues to find ways to minimize the impact on members of our bargaining unit.
