PLEASANTON REDUX

On Friday, June 4, 2010, a meeting was held in the
Pleasanton Sales Office to renew, rebuild and re-energize the Sales Reps.

The meeting was hosted by Robert Magee, Vice-President Consolidate Telephone Sales Centers, also invited were Business Manager, Peter Pusateri and Assistant Business Manager, Casey Lewis who represented IBEW Local 1269.

Mr. Magee committed with the support of the IBEW to a business partnership whose objective was to turn the Pleasanton office into a morale building, money-making sales focused, family-oriented facility.

General Manager, Bruce Bis, opened his comments by announcing the re-naming of the office from the “Pleasanton Call Center” to the new name of “Northern California Regional Telephone Sales Center.”

Both the Company and the Union committed to looking (bargaining) at new and better earning opportunities through ideas such as re-configuring the entire design of the center

with respect to “how, when and to whom market would be assigned, re-assigned, re-worked and re-canvassed.”   Compensation design will also be discussed between the Company and the Union.

We are hoping to start making inroads and a positive difference as early as the 2^nd quarter 2010.

Much work needs to be done, and we are asking our members to
volunteer to help make all this happen.
