Once again, Welcome to IBEW 1269’s new, revised and completely re-designed web site.

Our new site has been in the building stage for almost a year!  We think we have it right, but it will be an ongoing building process before it grows into providing all the features we hope to bring to you.  It goes without saying we encourage your suggestions and feedback.

Our goal is to provide you with the most current information
relative to our day-to-day business. To communicate to you and with you on topical issues with the companies we represent locally and the industries that comprise our jurisdiction on a national level.

We also hope to inform and educate our members regarding your rights covered by all of our contracts with our various employers across the United States, but in particular the 12 Western States which include

• Arizona
• California
• Colorado
• Idaho
• Montana
• Nevada
• New Mexico
• Oregon
• Texas
• Utah
• Washington
• Wyoming

And

• North Carolina in
  the Southeast

We will be using live video as needed, and, in the future,
we hope to provide live and direct communications with our members.  We will strive to continue expanding our services to our members with additional resources and new technology.  Our timing on the opening of our new web site will fit perfectly as we continue to negotiate a new contract with AT&T Interactive in Henderson (Las Vegas), Nevada and Charlotte, North Carolina.  We also open up simultaneously negotiations with AT&T Advertising Solutions (PBD) in California and Nevada.

There are 2 particular feature sections that I have a personal interest in: “Code of Excellence” and “You Decide.” We are working on our Mission Statement as I write this.

There will also be activity reports from our Chief Stewards in the field offices throughout our jurisdiction.

This is just a taste as to our goal to make better and
closer contact with you, our members, to make you better informed, smarter and better educated on the issues and, more importantly, get you involved, excited and proud to be a member of IBEW 1269.
