Dear Henderson Premise Sales Representatives,

This is an update on the status of providing you with Union representation.

We have filed a petition for a representation election with the National Labor Relations Board. A hearing on our petition has been tentatively scheduled for May 24th. We’ll keep you advised.

In the meantime, and until the election (by secret ballot) is conducted, you are protected by the National Labor Relations Act in your support for Union representation. You cannot be penalized by your employer for talking with your peer group about the election or encouraging them to vote (so long as this kind of activity does not interfere with your job). Supervisors and management are prohibited by law from interfering with this kind of activity.

We do not yet know what position AT&T is going to take in this proceeding. Hopefully, the Company will not interfere with the election process, in which case, we will have the election sometime in June. We will let you know when this happens.

Thanks to all show signed cards authorizing IBEW Local 1269 to be your Union representative. We could not have come this far without your cooperation.

Fraternally,

Peter A. Pusateri
